Ipswich Philatelic Society River Cruise 2026.

On 1st July 2026 twenty members of the society and their guests spent a lovely afternoon sailing down the River Deben. We not only enjoyed the sights along the river and its banks but a very good afternoon tea, supplied by Suffolk Food Hall.

The weather was perfect for the trip - sunny, but not too hot with a fine breeze to keep us cool but not cold. The Captain gave a commentary on the sights on the way down but was deliberatly quiet on the way back. 

All in all, a very enjoyable afternoon. Our thanks to Mike and Janet Smith for organising the event.
