Hello

Welcome to 'What's NEW'

On Monday 11th November 2019, the Executives of the  Ipswich & District Philatelic Society held a Committee meeting where it was decided to inaugurate a new Competition Trophy in honour of its last President - Mr Barrie Murton, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

Barrie was a keen collector of QEII Machin stamps. In memory of this, the trophy will be presented at our annual competition for the best Modern GB entry.
